Bell 206 Contact points - Elmar - 08-12-2011 12:20 PM
Hello!
I downloaded the low skid/floats Bell 206 model and it looks pretty good ^^ ... but i have a problem with it. Everytime i load the Bell 206 ls the helo crashes into ground, or in other words the flightsim shows "Crash" and if i don't press "Y" early, it goes on and on. Well If i pull it some feet over the ground and land the Bell normaly all is okey. It's only then i load it out of the Aircraft menu.
Could it be possible, that this bug is caused by the contact points?

Elmar,
You have to specify for which model of the 206 is causing the issue. Is this for the float or low skid Bell 206?

The low skid model ... i didn't test the floats one yet.

I've the same problem with the float : they are not matching and the helicopter don't float !!

This may not be the "best" solution - however - In the Aircraft.cfg [Contact_points] I changed the "class" from 3 = skid to 4 and the "float version" now floats. Backup cfg file first!!
