P180 problems in FSX
Good evening,
I recently downloaded you P180 and I like it much, but unless I need to turn engine off. First I found this "glitch" on IVAO and trust me, dancing with uncotrollable aircraft isn´t good at full airport Big Grin
Here is my problem:
When I turn off the engines and trying to start it again the P180 do several things
1) Will start only left engine - I have that almost covered Smile
2) Will start both engines, but will taxi in fast speed and doesn´t react on parking brake or any brake Smile
3) Will start both engines, but fell backward on rear gear.
4) Will start both engines, but start to rotate on one place in high speed.
5) Will start both engines, but won´t respect any brake and taxi even on 2% of throttle and takeoff Shocked

Can you please help me, how to start P180´s both engines and plane will stay on one place?
Thank you very much

RE: P180 problems in FSX
Hi awacs,

Thanks for downloading the P-180! We're glad you like it.

I'll let George (euroastar350) respond to your questions, as he's more familiar with the P-180 than I am. Just wanted to pop in and let you know that we didn't miss your topic or anything. Big Grin

Best Regards,
Brandon

RE: P180 problems in FSX
Thank you for your time. Meantime, I get the P180 to work. Now I have to set throttle to 0% and both Prop controls next to throttle to minimum and the start.

euroastar350: Actually I can´t find those command in my FSX Smile But I can start both engines now, my problem was, that P180 taxi even with parking brake on during startup, but thank you for help

RE: P180 problems in FSX
Hi, i recently downloaded your version of the P180 and it doesn't quite seem to be working as the original designer's had. Of course there is the start-up issue which I have looked over on the forums.
It seems to idle a little high for me on the ground, it just goes.
the nav, beacon and position lights wont turn on
when i turn on the pitot heat the right engine throws a high rpm fit
the VC looks like im looking at it through the bottom of a glass
and lastly it shouldn't struggle to pass 180kias upwards of FL200
Did I download a bad egg or something? I downloaded, installed and uninstalled both from avsim and simviation.
I know you guys do great work and stuff like this shouldnt be happening
Thanks

RE: P180 problems in FSX
With soo many projects going on at one time, I can easily lose track of what needs to be done. I have noted all reported issues and will implement them into the P180, but this will take some time to do as we have the following to do:

Finalise Bell 206 for FSX
Finalise and release Bell 206 TV News expansion for FS2004
Finalise and release Enstrom 280FX for FS2004
Finish Bell 222 VIP basepack

We also have other projects that are not our own that we are working on with other developers at the moment including one that we are not allowed to discuss/preview due to an NDA that has been imposed on us.

So bare with us while we get things sorted out and I'll get on the P180 update.

Thanks for understanding.
