Emb 120 Red Flashing Light

Just downloaded the Emb120. Great textures and very pleasing. Just noticed that the red beacon light flashes into the cockpit in the VC. Any ideas on what may be causing this? It does this in both liveries that I tried and stops when I turn it off. I am running FSX in Vista 32 bit, with all service packs up to date.

This happens to all aircraft including default using the default FSX beacon. The beacon emits the light to where it flashes into the cockpit. I have a beacon effect that does not do this. Give us time to convert it from FS9 format to FSX formet.
